This Other London Storywalk – Myths and Legends of Finsbury, Pentonville & Barnsbury

LOCATION: London

In this video, John Rogers uses the power of Google Street View to take you on a narrated guide through Finsbury and Pentonville, then onto Hounslow Heath, revealing the many layered myths and legends beneath the innocuous streets.

This presentation is loosely based on the book This Other London: Adventures in the Overlooked City, which comes highly recommended by Unofficial Britain. It’s a funny ramblers guide to the lesser known fringes of London, following out-of-date A-Zs, and fuelled by corner shop-bought samosas. You can find out more here.
